At First Federal Savings Bank, we will not sell your loan. This means that from start to finish, your mortgage is handled entirely at a local branch. Our dedicated team ensures that all mortgages are processed, underwritten, and serviced right here, providing you with consistent and reliable service.
 
When you're preparing to purchase a home or refinance your existing mortgage with First Federal, it's essential to gather all the necessary documentation to ensure a smooth application process. Below is a list of required items: 
 
 

  • Tax Returns from the past two years - (if self-employed, also provide business returns.
  • W-2's from the past two years.
  • 1 month of recent pay stubs for each employed person.
  • 2 months of current bank statements if an account is not with First Federal.
  • Final Sales Contract.
  • Real Estate Agent's name, address, and phone number.
  • If the sale is between individuals (no realtor), copy of previous title policy.
  • Estimate on annual taxes.
  • Estimate on homeowners' insurance.
  • Tax returns from the past three years - (if self-employed, also provide business returns).
  • W-2's from the past 2 two years.
  • 1 month of recent pay stubs for each employed person.
  • 2 months of current bank statements if an account is not with First Federal.
  • Copy of most recent real estate tax bill.
  • Current homeowners' insurance policy.
  • Copy of existing title insurance policy.
  • Statement from current mortgage holder - showing their name, address, phone number, your account.
